2007-21 ; Cost Allocation ; Diagnosis-Related Groups ; Health Care Reform ; R121 ; Reimbursement MechanismsAbstract: Het Federaal Kenniscentrum voor de Gezondheidszorg (KCE) bekeek samen met onderzoekers van UZ Leuven de haalbaarheid en eventuele impact van een “all-in” systeem voor ziekenhuisfinanciering in België. Bij all-in financiering ontvangen de ziekenhuizen een forfaitair bedrag op basis van het aantal en de aard van de behandelde aandoeningen. Een aantal buurlanden past dit systeem reeds toe om de ziekenhuizen financieel te responsabiliseren en om hun efficiëntie te vergroten. All-in is haalbaar in België en te verkiezen boven de huidige versnipperde en complexe hervormingen. Het KCE pleit wel voor een voorafgaandelijke consensus tussen alle betrokkenen, om pas daarna over te gaan tot een geleidelijke, gefaseerde invoering van het systeem.
