Guidelines zijn kritische samenvattingen van de meest recente medische kennis, die werden gevalideerd door de internationale wetenschappelijke wereld, en die geregeld worden geüpdatet. Het Federal Kenniscentrum voor de Gezondheidszorg (KCE) voerde een studie uit naar het gebruik van deze richtlijnen in ons land, en formuleert een aantal voorstellen om ze meer aantrekkelijk en gebruiksvriendelijk te maken.
