Search tips
Enter title or name of author, then click on Search
You may enter names or first names Accented characters and punctuation marks are ignored during the search (é, è, à, ç, !, ', etc.).
You can also search in publishers, series, sub-series, subjects (thesaurus), classmarks (for example Dewey), keywords, summaries and notes.
To do this, first click the corresponding check boxes , enter your search criteria, and then click on Search. Your search can also take the form of a boolean expression.
How to get records into my reference management software?
Export records
- Open the record
- Click on the basket icon
- Go to you basket
- Select the items
- Select the export style 'BibTex' or 'EndNote' (beta) and click "OK"
- Save the text file
Connect to BIBKCE directly from EndNote (beta)
- Download the EndNote (X.0) connection file (use "Save link as". NB: port 210 must be open: check your firewall settings)
How to get records into another library catalogue?
Export records
- Open the record

- Select the export style 'UNIMARC iso' and click "OK"
- Save the text file
Search through a Z39.50 connection
BIB-KCE may be searched through a z39.50 connection. Set up a new connection as follow:
- Server: KCE
- Server adress (URL): z3950.bibli.fr
- Database Name: cfess
- Element set: F
- Port ID: 210
- Batch download: yes
- Record syntax: UNIMARC
- Text: Unicode (UTF-8)
Search through a OAI Repository
BIB-KCE may be harvested through an OAI connection. Set up a new connection as follow :
- Source name : KCE Repository
- Server adress (url) : http://kce.docressources.info/ws/PMBWs_2
- Protocol version : 2.0
