Les dernières recommandations dataient de 2004. Le message global est surtout de déconseiller tout examen dont les bénéfices pour la future mère et le bébé ne seraient pas nettement supérieurs à ses désavantages. En cela, ces recommandations s’inscrivent dans la tendance édictée par l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS) de démédicaliser la grossesse – qui, faut-il le rappeler, n’a rien d’une maladie. In deze nieuwe richtlijn worden onderzoeken afgeraden die niet duidelijk grotere voor- dan nadelen bieden voor moeder en kind.
